Front Row:  Jamie Rasis – Kyron Caddick – Gafain Hill- Thomas Harris

Missing from photo: Jordan Sheekey – Chantelle Hellings – Steffan Cowdrey

And Sonny Richardson.

It was a 6.30 am start on the morning of Sunday 30th January for these children to travel to Guildford in Essex to compete in the most prestigious of martial art events in the United Kingdom.

The results are as follows:

David Debono 1st Place.  Jamie Rasis 3rd Place and Gafain Hill 3rd Place.

D avid Debono age 9 fought through all his bouts to take 1st place in the points section, an outstanding performance.

Jamie Rasis age 8 took 3rd place in the points section and fought through his bouts like a  champion.

Gafain Hill, age 8 a novice fighter took 3rd place in the light contact section.  An excellent day for Gafain with this  being only his 2nd  tournament.

Kyron age 7 fought through his category with spectators watching him in Awe! He was outstanding and by far one of the best fighters in his category.  However, due to a fighter of much more experience and of course height, Kyron lost his last bout, but nevertheless he received an outstanding ovation from the crowd.  Well Done Kyron.  Kyron will be taking his 1st Degree Black Belt in March this year.

James aged 9 fought several bouts up to the semi-final where he was winning, but due to an injury was forced to concede and hand the fight over to his opponent.
