The bouts were fought in a full size boxing ring and all students except for Sonny Richardson and Christopher
Brown, had never fought in the ring before. As they entered the venue the students
sighed when the saw the ring which was surrounded by a very large audience awaiting to see them fight.
First to take part was a very confident Jamie Rasis aged 8 who is usually a points fighter, but did extremely
well but was unfortunately beaten by a more experienced full contact fighter. He took runner up.
Next up was Kyron Caddick age 7 who was extremely nervous whilst waiting in the warm up room. Kyron hesitated before he entered the ring, but took control of his fight, and gave an amazing full contact
performance and was commended by the judges, and took 1st Place.
Gafain Hill age 8 being a novice fighter was next to perform and again put up a brave fight with outstanding
technical ability, but the judges decided to give the fight to his opponent, thus taking runner
up.
Along came James Sheekey age 10 with an outstanding performance which was also commended by the judges. James was so controlled but very fast and performing spinning kicks to the head which
kept the audience in suspense right through the fight. James took 1st
Place.
In the ring next was Steffan Cowdrey age 8, again another outstanding performance with Steffan being a little nervous to begin with but soon took control of his fight taking 1st Place.
Next Up young Kiya Glanville age 7 a novice fighter, was again
outstanding and injured her opponent who decided to concede with Kiya taking 1st
Place.
